Refund Policy
At RT Installations, we take pride in delivering high-quality kitchen installation and storage services. Our goal is to ensure that every project meets or exceeds your expectations. However, we understand that there may be rare occasions where a refund is requested. This policy outlines when refunds may be issued and under what circumstances.
1. General Policy
Refunds are only issued in exceptional cases. We encourage open communication throughout your project to resolve any concerns before they escalate. If you are unhappy with any part of our service, please contact us immediately so we can investigate and resolve the issue.

2. Deposits

Deposits are non-refundable unless cancellation occurs within 14 days of acceptance (in line with UK Consumer Contracts Regulations) and work or material orders have not yet commenced.

If materials have been purchased or work has started, partial deductions may apply based on costs incurred.

3. Cancellations Before Work Begins

If you cancel before any work has started and no materials have been ordered, a full refund of your deposit may be granted.

If materials have been ordered or allocated to your project, we reserve the right to deduct the cost of those materials from any potential refund.

4. Work in Progress
Once work has begun:

Refunds are not typically provided unless there is a proven failure to deliver the service as agreed in writing.

If issues arise, we will always aim to correct the problem or offer an appropriate resolution (e.g., repair, replacement, or rework).

Labour already completed and materials installed are non-refundable.

5. Completed Projects
Refunds are not offered for completed projects except in cases of:

Major workmanship defects that cannot be rectified

Breach of agreed written terms
In such cases, we will assess the issue and, where appropriate, offer a partial refund or other resolution at our discretion.

6. Faulty Products or Materials

If a product or material supplied by us is found to be faulty, we will follow the supplier’s or manufacturer’s return/replacement process.

Refunds for faulty materials may be subject to third-party return policies.

7. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, please email us at info@rt-installations.co.uk within 7 days of discovering the issue. Include:

We aim to review all refund requests within 5 business days and provide a response or resolution proposal.
